Essen Digital Studio

Better signals.
Sharper stories.

Essen Studio Tools is a growing collection of private systems that help our editorial team turn channel data into clearer decisions—without turning the creative process into a dashboard.

Tool 01

Essen Channel Analytics

A private decision-support tool for channels operated by Essen Digital Studio. It uses Google OAuth 2.0 and authorized YouTube API data to connect video performance with the work that produced it.

Built for one editorial loop

From publish to learning.

The tool is intended to reduce manual reporting and help authorized team members understand what audiences watched, clicked, and stayed for.

Planned analysis areas

  • Video-level performance and channel trends
  • Thumbnail impressions and click-through analysis when available through the authorized APIs
  • Audience-retention patterns and watch-time analysis
  • Comparison of transcript structure with retention signals
  • Authorized queries through internal Claude or Codex workflows
  • A repeatable plan–do–check–act editorial cycle

Purpose limitation

The data serves the channel—not the other way around.

The application is designed to access only data authorized by the channel owner and only for disclosed analytics, reporting, and editorial-improvement purposes.

01

Read, not publish

The planned tool analyzes authorized channel data. It is not intended to upload, edit, delete, like, comment on, or otherwise modify YouTube content.

02

Owner-authorized

Google OAuth 2.0 presents the requested permissions. A user may decline access or revoke an existing grant through Google at any time.

03

No data resale

Authorized data is not intended for advertising, sale, surveillance, credit decisions, or unrelated audience profiling.

How authorization works

Explicit access. Visible purpose. User control.

If OAuth-enabled functionality is activated, the application will use Google OAuth 2.0. This public website does not contain a sign-in button, collect credentials, or initiate an authorization request.

Step 1

An authorized user starts the connection inside the internal application.

Step 2

Google shows the application identity and the exact permissions requested.

Step 3

The user grants or declines access. The application must respect either choice.

Step 4

The user can revoke access later through Google Account security settings.

Transparency first

Know what happens before you authorize.

Our Privacy Policy explains the current website's data practices, the data categories and purposes planned for the internal application, and the controls required before OAuth or third-party AI processing can begin.
